Welcome to the new website of Woburn Public Media Center INC Television: TV for Woburn , by the people of Woburn . Just as Channels 3,13, on RCN, and 9, 10 Comcast provide the Woburn community with important news and information as well as entertaining programs, I hope this website will serve the same purpose for both City residents and for those outside the community as well. WPMC was formed in 2005 by a voluntary board of directors to serve the communication needs of the residents, educational institutions, governmental bodies, and not-for-profit organizations in Woburn , Massachusetts . In 2005 WPMC opened the doors of the WPMC community access center to the Woburn community - a place where public, educational, and governmental (PEG) access can work to support the goals of individuals and institutions alike. WPMC, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501-c-3 charitable organization, and it fulfills its mission by providing training on, and free access to, video production equipment and channel time on the local Comcast & RCN cable system.

The programs we air consist of a wide variety of topics. Depending on who you are and what your interests, there is something for everyone. Every WPMC producer has their own personal ideas and visions — ones they are very passionate about. Becoming a producer at WPMC is easy, but being a WPMC producer requires lots of hard work and dedication. WPMC is truly grateful for all our volunteers.
